Hitchcock Bay’s history

Hitchcock Bay is a hamlet on the northern shore of Lake Diefenbaker, at the point where Hitchcock Creek flows into the lake.

The place was first settled in 1903 by O. A. "Jack" Hitchcock, a Quebec-born steam engineer who turned to ranching. He finished building his log cabin in 1904, and it still stands today.
